We decided to take you along for a little walkthrough of one of our stores so you can get a better look at what Hetch’s is all about.
We’re a Wisconsin family-owned discount building materials business, and for more than 20 years we’ve been helping homeowners, contractors, DIYers, landlords, and anyone else working on a project save a little money on building materials.
So, What is Hetch’s?
The easiest way to describe Hetch’s is this:
You never quite know what you’re going to find, but there’s a pretty good chance you’ll find a deal.
We purchase building materials direct from manufacturers, wholesales, lumber yards, and other suppliers. A lof of what comes through our doors consists of discontinued, overrun, surplus, or otherwise discounted materials.
That means our inventory is always changing. One week you might find a great deal on windows, the next week it could be flooring, lumber, doors, insulation, siding, hardware, or something you didn’t even know you needed until you saw it sitting on the shelf.
And honestly, that’s part of the fun.
So Why Is It So Cheap?
This is probably the question we get the most. The store answer is that we don’t operate like a traditional big-box supply store.
We buy materials that other suppliers may not want or need anymore, so we can pass those savings along to you! Some products are 1st runs/grade A. Others may have imperfections, be 2nds or grade B. We’re upfront about that though.
You know what you’re getting, and the price reflects that on every single product we have. That’s how we’ve been able to help thousands of people save money on their projects over the years.
